Very excited – have just booked my flight to attend the Festival du film, Saint Livrade sur Lot, in south west France. Rachel screens on Monday 4th December programme (1) as a companion piece to the magnificent and truly all round wonderful feature, Lucky.

Seriously honoured to have Rachel paired with a film of such quality and really looking forward to the evening, which culminates with a community meal and the local English-speaking community sharing their culinary specialities –  I wonder how much Ryan Air will charge me to bring some excess baggage in the form of the chutney I made this year with produce from my allotment…
